NAFRC DECORATES NEWLY PROMOTED SENIOR OFFICER

FOC NAVDOC Visits NAFRC

The Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Center (NAFRC) has decorated 48 newly promoted soldiers which comprises of 4 private soldiers promoted to lance Corporal , 18 lance corporal to Coporal, 11 corporal to the rank of sergeant,10 sergeants to the rank of staff sergeant and 5 staff sergeants to the rank of warrant officers respectively.

During the ceremony, which took place on Thursday in Lagos, the Commandant, Air Vice Marshal AH Amesinlola, represented by the Deputy Commandants, Major General EA Anaryu, congratulated the newly promoted soldiers, urging them not to forget the pillars of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

He discloses that the new rank was as a result of their hard work and positive attitude to work, thereby, remaining steadfast and committed to code of conducts as regard to the Armed Forces would bring more promotion to them.

“think like your new ranks by letting hard work reflect on your daily activities, do proper planning for your retirement regardless of your rank even as I urge your families to continue to pray for you and make your various homes conducive for relaxation”

In the same vein, Air commodore DO Dickson , The Director of Administration thanked the Chief of Army Staff and congratulated the newly promoted soldiers, he urged them to do their best as competitions are stiffer, as well as extended gratitude to their families for their support and encouragement so far.

Again, the Deputy Director of Administration, Lieutenant Colonel KM Atilola, pointed out that their new ranks comes with new responsibility and they are expected to put more effort for further recognition.

Furthermore, the Central AWO Abubakar M, also appreciated the Chief Of Army Staff and the Commandant for graciously approving their ranks. He advised them to protect their ranks by being disciplined and committed to duties.

WO Garba GO, who gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted soldiers, thanked the almighty God for keeping them safe and alive as the journey has not been easy “it is with great joy that our appreciation goes to the commandant AVM AH Amesinlola and deputy Commandant for their guidance and show of love towards us. We promise to remain more disciplined, committed and uphold the integrity of the Nigerian Armed Forces through quality discharge of duties and hard work”. He concluded.
