INTRODUCTION
The Centre Public Relations Department is charged with the responsibility of mirroring the image, sustaining civil-military relationships within and outside its environ. Also, the CPRD is also tasked with the organizing and coordinating of ceremonies such as the Passing Out Ceremony activities and other forms of occasions amongst other functions.
Additionally, the Public Relations Department is in charge of the Conference Room where weekly briefs, visits from cooperate organizations, military formations and other sister agencies are held.
STATUTORY TASKS/ RESPONSIBILITY
The CPRD is responsible to the DCOORD for the duties as listed below:
- CPRD publishes the activities of the Centre using both print and electronic media. He is equally the Image maker of the Centre.
- The CPRD is responsible for covering all activities of the Centre using still and video cameras.
- The CPRD purchases Newspapers and magazines for the Centre.
- The CPRD settles minor disputes between service personnel and members
- The CPRD arranges gifts/souvenirs for guests of the Centre.
HALL OF FAME
NAFRC hall of fame set standards and recount significant developments and illustrious achievements which have shaped and carve a niche for NAFRC since its establishment. The hall of fame captures essential spotlights of NAFRC activities in promoting veteran entrepreneurship and empowerment schemes for retiring military personnel. The hall is charged with the responsibility to showcase, promote and create awareness of products from various workshops and departments in the institution. NAFRC hall of fame honors the achievements of industrious individuals in the public service as well as eminent Generals in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
