Cmdt Decorates Promoted Officers

The Commandant of the Nigeria Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) Oshodi, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) A. H. Amesinlola, has decorated three newly promoted officers serving at the centre.

The ceremony took place on 16 August 2024 in the Conference Room of NAFRC.

The promotions, part of a recent round of advancements in the Nigerian Air Force, saw Flying Officer B. Ajula and Flying Officer Y. Yunusa elevated to the rank of Flight Lieutenant, while Flight Lieutenant Wampana was promoted to Squadron Leader.

The promotions were approved by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Bala Abubakar.

AVM Amensinlola commended the newly promoted officers for their discipline and dedication, which earned them their new ranks.

He urged them to remain steadfast in their duties, emphasising that their actions are being closely observed.

Additionally, the Commandant encouraged the officers to take advantage of the various workshops available at the centre to acquire additional skills, despite their busy schedules.

Air Commodore O. J. Dickson, the Director of Administration, also congratulated the officers on their well-deserved promotions, advising them to continue their hard work and make the most of available resources.

In his vote of thanks, Squadron Leader Wampala expressed gratitude to the Chief of Air Staff for approving their promotions and thanked the Commandant for his unwavering support. He acknowledged the valuable advice and encouragement from the Deputy Commandant and Directors at NAFRC, without which the promotions would not have been possible.
