NAFRC Hosts Dinner to Honour Retiring Personnel

As part of activities to celebrate the retiring personnel of Course 2/2024, the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) hosted a grand dinner ceremony at the Centre’s Badeh Hall.
The Commandant, Air Vice Marshal BR Mamman, delivered a warm welcome address, expressing heartfelt appreciation to the retiring personnel for their dedicated service to the nation. He lauded their sacrifices and congratulated them on reaching this significant milestone, describing the dinner as a befitting tribute to their years of commitment and exemplary excellence.
The Special Guest of Honour, Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Gwabin Musa OFR, was ably represented by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 81 Division, Major General FU Mijinyawa commended the participants for their strength, agility, courage, bravery and qualities that have defined their careers. He urged them to carry the discipline and values of military service into their post-service lives being ambassadors of the armed forces and assuring them of the military’s continued support.
The evening witnessed an impressive gathering of dignitaries, including the President of the Defence and Police Officers Wives Association (DEPOWA), senior military officers, and their spouses.
Highlights of the evening included the presentation of awards to outstanding personnel, vibrant dance performances, and moments of merriment as guests celebrated the participants’ achievements and new beginnings.
The dinner ceremony reflects NAFRC’s commitment to honouring its retiring personnel while providing them with a memorable farewell as they transition to the next phase of their lives.
