Addressing personnel at the end of the exercise, the Commandant, Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, Air Vice Marshal Nnaemeka Ignatius Ilo, commended them for their participation and resilience throughout the march.
The Commandant emphasised the importance of maintaining physical fitness, noting that regular physical exercise contributes significantly to personnel’s overall wellbeing and operational effectiveness.
In addition, he noted that the security and territory integrity of the nation is a responsibility that must be guarded hence the need to remain steadfast, fit and alert at all times. He further urged personnel to sustain the culture of discipline, which remains a fundamental attribute of military profession.
Air Vice Marshal Ilo encouraged personnel to make physical fitness a continuous part of their daily routine, stressing that the completion of the quarterly route march should not mark the end of their fitness activities.
