AVM Ilo inaugurates NAFRC Course 1/26
The Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) officially inaugurated Course 1/2026 for disengaging military personnel. The ceremony marked the commencement of the pre-discharge training programme and was inaugurated by the Commandant, Air Vice Marshal Nnaemeka Ignatius Ilo, the 42nd Commandant of the Centre.
Speaking at the event, the Director of Training, Brigadier General Effiong Akpaumontia disclosed that the course is made-up of 823 participant from the Nigerian Army, Navy and Air Force, adding that the programme was designed to equip participants with entrepreneurship and management skills for smooth reintegration into civil life.
AVM Ilo described the Centre as a citadel of hope and courage while congratulating the participants, urging them to uphold discipline, professionalism, and strict adherence to regulations. He assured them of a conducive learning environment and adequate security throughout the training.
