AVM Ilo pays Familiarisation Visit to FIIRO, Oshodi

The Commandant, Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Air Vice Marshal Nnaemeka Ilo, on Wednesday 21 January 2026, paid a familiarisation visit to the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, (FIIRO), Oshodi, as part of activities following his assumption of office. The visit was aimed at strengthening existing ties and enhancing collaboration.
The Director-General/CEO of FIIRO, Dr. Jummai Adamu Tutuwa, received the Commandant and his entourage alongside members of the institute’s executive management. She acknowledged the benefits of the long-standing relationship with NAFRC, particularly in the area of security, and expressed FIIRO’s readiness to explore further collaborative opportunities.
In his remarks, AVM Ilo appreciated FIIRO’s consistent support and described the partnership as mutually beneficial. He commended the institute’s growth and international expansion, attributing its success to strong leadership and sound institutional values. He further assured the Director-General of NAFRC’s commitment to identifying additional areas of cooperation, noting FIIRO’s vast industrial research capabilities.
