AFCRD 2026 in NAFRC

As part of activities marking the 2026 Armed Forces Celebration and Remembrance Day, the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) Oshodi held a Juma't prayer and an Inter-Denominational Church Service on Friday 9 January 2026 and on Sunday 11 January 2026 at the Centre Mosque and St Stephens Protestant Church NAFRC Oshodi respectively.

The prayer and service were organised to celebrate gallant officers and men of the Nigerian Armed Forces and to honour fallen heroes who paid the supreme sacrifice in defence of Nigeria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. It also provided an avenue for prayers for peace, unity, and the continued safety of personnel currently deployed in various operational theatres across the country. The Commandant Air Vice Marshal NI Ilo was represented by the Deputy Commandant Maj Gen AO Oyelade.
