As part of its mandate to transit retired military personnel into civil life, the Commandant Nigeria Armed Forces Resettlement Centre Oshodi, Air Vice Marshal Bashiru Rimi Mamman officially inaugurated 535 Trainees of Course 1/2025, comprising the Army, Navy and the Airforce.

The event took place at the Buhari hall of the Centre on 23 Jan 25.

The Commandant, while delivering his inaugural speech stated that the aim of the course is for the Centre to continuously create the platform for the trainees in various workshops, management department, as well as information technology for a period of six months.

AVM MAMMAN buttressed the impact of the training program which has resulted in past trainees thriving in various ventures.

He encouraged them to live a better life after retirement, stressing that the workshop has opened up another opportunity for them to achieve this goal.

The Comdt also disclosed that the Centre provides all kinds of medical care for all trainees, adding that necessary arrangement are in place to make sure all trainees stay healthy in the Centre.

Also, the Director of Training, Brigadier General Olatunji admonishes the trainees to maintain a high level of discipline. He also cautioned that any act of indiscipline will not be tolerated.
